**Extensionist.nl was born from my deep love for beauty and creativity, a passion I've had since I was a little girl dreaming of becoming a makeup artist. Fifteen years ago, I took a big step towards that dream by entering the world of makeup, focusing on weddings and photoshoots. I loved every second of it, and as my reputation grew, I decided to open my own beauty salon. In those early days, I mainly focused on makeup and nails, creating beautiful looks for my clients.

About ten years ago, after receiving countless compliments and requests from clients who admired my own hair, I decided to start offering hair extensions. I had been doing my own extensions, and they were such a hit that it made perfect sense to add them to my services. This allowed me to better meet my clients' needs and bring something new to my salon.

As for my brows, I was quite stubborn—I wouldn’t let anyone else touch them! So, I decided to learn permanent makeup myself. I enrolled in a school to master the art, not only to perfect my own brows but also to understand the process from a client’s perspective so I could be extra careful and precise.

After completing a two-year masterclass at the Mieke Petiet school in Amsterdam and earning my diploma in makeup artistry, I knew I had found my true calling. Those years were some of the best of my life, filled with creativity and inspiration. As my skills grew, I naturally transitioned into permanent makeup, especially brow design, which felt like a perfect fit given my background in makeup.

Today, my salon primarily focuses on hair extensions and brow tattooing, although my passion for makeup is still very much alive. While makeup will always be a part of what I do, enhancing natural beauty through hair extensions and permanent makeup—especially brows and lips—has become the heart of my work. My journey has been fueled by passion, creativity, and a desire to help my clients feel their absolute best, and I’m excited to continue doing what I love for many more years to come.**
