PMU Removal with Laser in Haarlem

Do you have permanent make-up you’re no longer happy with? Or has your brow tattoo faded into an unwanted color like red, blue, or grey? With our professional Laser treatment, we offer a safe and effective solution for removing or fading permanent make-up on the eyebrows, lips, or other areas.

Your laser uses powerful, precise pulses of light that penetrate deep into the skin and break down the pigment particles. These particles are then naturally removed by your body. The surrounding skin remains unharmed, which minimizes the risk of scarring or permanent damage. This technique is considered one of the safest methods for PMU removal, when performed professionally.

Depending on the color, depth, and quality of the pigment, an average of 4 to 6 sessions is typically needed for full removal. However, full removal isn’t always the goal — many clients simply want their PMU lightened for a more natural look. This can often be achieved in just a few sessions. Please note that after fading, the undertone might be lighter than your current brows we’ll always discuss this in advance.

The treatment is suitable for almost all skin types and is performed with proper protection, including safety goggles for both client and practitioner. After the session, you’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing.

Want to have your PMU safely and professionally removed or lightened? Contact us for a free consultation or book your appointment directly via our booking page.

Preparing for Your PMU Laser Removal Treatment

To ensure the treatment is both safe and effective, please follow these guidelines in the days before your appointment:

Do not use products with alcohol, acids (like AHA/BHA), retinol, or scrubs on the treatment area at least 24 hours in advance.

Avoid sunbeds and direct sun exposure at least 48 hours before the session — sunburned or irritated skin cannot be treated.

On the day of your treatment, avoid alcohol and limit caffeine, as these can make the skin more sensitive.

Try not to take blood-thinning medication or anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen just before the appointment, as they can increase the risk of bruising. Paracetamol is fine if needed.

Arrive with clean skin, free of make-up or creams on the treatment area.

Let us know if you’ve recently had skin treatments such as fillers, Botox, or chemical peels so we can assess if it’s safe to proceed.

If you have cold sores, active skin irritation, or have recently been ill, inform us in advance. We prefer to reschedule rather than work on compromised skin. Your safety and skin health always come first.
